- Change engine oil and filter. Rest Oil Life System.
- Visually check for any leaks and damage.
- Inspect engine air cleaner or change indicator.
- Rotate and inspect tires. Check inflation pressures and wear.
- Inspect brake system, including brake lines, hoses, pads, calipers, wheel cylinders, rotors and drums.
- Check engine coolant and windshield washer fluid
- Trucks: Lubricate front suspension, ball joints, steering linkage, and parking brake cables.
- Trucks with Allison Transmission only: Inspect external control-main filter.
MAINTENANCE II
- Change engine oil and filter. Rest Oil Life System.
- Visually check for any leaks or damage
- Inspect engine air cleaner or change indicator
- Rotate and inspect tires. Check inflation pressures and wear.
- Inspect brake system, including brake lines, hoses, pads, calipers, wheel cylinders, rotors and drums.
- Check engine coolant and windshield washer fluid
- Clean outside of radiator and condenser, pressure check cooling system and caps.
- Inspect radiator and heater hoses for cracks, swelling or deterioration
- Lubricate suspension, steering linkage and transaxle shift linkage.
- Inspect drive axle boots for damage, tears or leakage.
- Inspect wiper blades for wear and cracking.
- Inspect safety belts, buckles, latch plates, retractors, anchorages, safety-belt reminder light for damage or loose parts.
- Lubricate key lock-cylinders and hood, door, and truck hinges and latches.
- Inspect throttle linkage.
- Inspect steering system and suspension for damage and loose or missing parts.
- Inspect power-steering lines and hoses for leaks or damage.
- Inspect passenger-compartment air filter.
- Inspect brake-transaxle shift interlock for correct operation.
- Inspect starter safety switch and steering column lock for correct operation.
- Inspect fuel system for damage or leaks.
- Inspect exhaust system for loose or damaged components.
- Trucks: Check transmission fluid level.
- Trucks without a filter-restriction indicator. Inspect engine air-cleaner filter.
